The King’s Access Officer(s) are responsible for encouraging students from less privileged backgrounds to apply to King’s, and more generally Cambridge University. During the academic year, three events are directly organized by the Access Officer(s): the interview help desk (for all King’s applicants); co-coordinating the CUSU shadowing scheme within college; and running the King’s Access Bus in Middlesbrough. Liaising with other Cambridge Access Officers and acting on access issues within King’s College are also central to the role.
